Heathco Software was started in 1999 by John Heathco. Initially offering Windows software applications, the company began to shift towards creating software solutions for online businesses. In 2002, Heathco Software released a powerful search engine relying only on PHP and MySQL technologies. Combining a simple interface with powerful features, the search engine allowed for customers to index their web sites without having to worry about installing any complex software.
In 2003, Heathco Software released its flagship product, h2desk. h2desk streamlines the communication businesses conduct online; it provides an advanced ticketing system, powerful knowledge base system, user account management, and much more. The help desk quickly became one of the more popular systems available, currently in use by small businesses and larger corporations throughout the world.
Heathco Software is now looking to develop more advanced solutions for businesses, including a new search engine that will be able to index and quickly return results for extremely large web sites.
